Merlion Park, Singapore

Blog,

The last time I was in Singapore, I only managed to go to USS and Marina Bay Boardwalk. This year, thanks to Air Asia RM1 Sale (paying RM149 for return ticket to and fro, still affordable what. Plus we went on a short trip, one night stay jer), Singapura macam waving jak nunggah nyuruh ngagak.

Anyway, managed to visit Merlion Park on that hazy Sunday morning before we head back to Kuching. Missing the place so bad now. Can't do anything because I can't afford any traveling because I'm already pokkai from my previous trips to Bangkok. Huhu.

Untuk mengubat rindu di hati, Imma share some of the photo here, because I miss the place so bad. But then again, not really lar coz the place was super crowded that morning with tourist all trying to immortalised their memory with the gigantic merlion. Nak ambik gambar pun susah. Pose biasa jak, bukan nak pose ala-ala numtum air dari merlion hoccay.

Asiatique The Riverfront, Bangkok

Blog,

Who needs a good beach view when I can look at Chao Phraya River all night long.

OK fine, the last boat to Saphan Taksin BTS is around 1030pm or so, not all night but you get the idea. Plus, in September, it rains EVERY DAMN NIGHT.

It was our last night in Bangkok and the weather was actually good, no hint of rain (weather was actually on our side for the first time in 5 nights I'm in Bangkok) but it rains when we were in a boat on our way back to the hotel. So phewwww.

This is  by far my favourite place in Bangkok. They should operate til morning yo! Or 24 hours. But too bad they only operate from 5pm - midnight =( I don't feel like leaving the place man although I am not a shopaholic. But if you are a SHOPAHOLIC, this is a place for you!

If ever have a chance to visit to Bangkok again, I will revisit this place for sure!

OK, now let's see how to get there. I am sure there's taxi but being a kiam siap, why don't we just use BTS instead (taxi is cheap in Bangkok but beware, the taxi driver tend to makan you and will refuse to turn the meter on. ALWAYS insist for them to TURN ON THE FREAKING METER OK!).

How to get to Asiatique by BTS :

1. If your are from Silom line, alight at Siam Station and get to Bang Wa line. It's like a transit line. Get off at Siam Station and just walk to the opposite line.

2. Get off at Saphan Taksin Station (S6), take exit No. 2.

3. Board shuttle boat to Asiatique. The ride takes around 15 minutes and it is FREE OF CHARGE. Yay!!

Note : For those staying at an atas hotel nearby Chao Phraya River, they have their own shuttle boat to Asiatique.

OK picca time!

Universal Studio Singapore (September 2014) - Hollywood Section

Wow,

Time flies when you are having fun huh?

In all seriousness, I am not having fun at all. Anyway, let's put aside the no fun business and soak in the fun that I had last year at Universal Studios Singapore.

Of course, the park has few sections and this is one of them. Hollywood! Where all the glitz and glamour are.

Looking at these photographs makes me want to go back in time and never coming back to reality. Reality is boring. Reality is the reason I am updating this blog because I want to stay put in my own fantasy where I can control and navigate it the way I want to.

I miss this place badly. Oh how I wish I can afford to come back and watch Shrek 4D at Far Far Away Land.
