The day I realized that I can't live without my Cosway's Oriyen Pearl Cream

Gonna ramble about beauty products AGAIN. I need to let it out lor coz I have suffer for one and half month without my trusted moisturizer. Sedih OK!


Since 2001, my mum have asked me to dab and slap a moisturizer on my face. Of course, along the way, mum asked me to try Oil of Ulan (that is how I remember it, then they change it to Olay. Uuuuu). Yes, that's my secret to a good skin lor. Hydration is the key. Yerdeh, as if my skin is glowing and free from acne scars. AS IF!


Anyway, am gonna introduce the staple need for my face (beside BB creams which I seldom buy because they are too damn expensive OK!, 2-way compact powder that I can't live without and hmm what else? thats all I guess).

Ingredients :

Water, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Cetearyl  Glucoside, Butylene Glycol, Hydrogenated Polydeccene, PPG - 15 Stearyl Ether, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Titanium Dioxide, Dimethicone, PEG - 100 Srearate, Pearl Powder, Tocopheryl Acetate, Xanthan Gum, Polyacrylamide, Disodium EDTA, Lactic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Fragrance, Phenoexythanol, Propanediol, Methylisothiazolinone

TA-DA!!! Oriyen Pearl Cream from Cosway. This is my favorite so far. Dunno la one soi day, it was out of stock. I went to few Cosway outlets and wham bam semua cakap tidak ada. Adding salt to the wound, my current stock at that time was about to finito bah gah eeee!! Forget about it, now I'm a happy girl again, thanks Cosway!


That is the box. Not as fancy as them Korean beauty products but what the heck, as long as am looking cute using it, fine by me (perasan moment hihi). Moving on to the content!

Again, not that fancy but the nutrients are more important! For RM39.90, this is what you get. But when you are buying it during SALE, they will sale it for RM19.90 per tube / box. Better wait for SALE lar. Solution for the sengkek and kam siap like me. Huhuhu One tube will last you about a month depending on your usage.


Now, let's look at the texture, shall we ;)

On the right is the Oriyen Pearl Cream and on the left is L'Oreal Day Cream / Gel dunno what lah. When Pearl Cream was out of stock, I HAD to find a substitute and since am so sengkek to buy any other expensive creams, I settled with L'Oreal because it was on SALE and I was hoping for my Pearl Cream to be restocked ASAP. But, my hopes were shattered as you can see from the pic here, I managed to "finished" it. Luckily, god saves me on May 24th, the stock finally arrives!

This is a closer look on that L'Oreal ones. If anyone is interested lar. It came with a facial wash for RM19.95 OK. Not RM39.90 as stated on the box. I thought I was killing 2 birds with one stone, turn out I was killing my face :( It doesn't suit me but am not gonna dwell further on that.

Here are the reasons why I can't live without my Pearl Cream.


THE TEXTURE
Oriyen Pearl Cream : Smooth, creamy texture that absorb to MY skin almost immediately.
Loreal : I have to spend more time and effort to wait for it to absorb (like forever)

THE EFFECT
Since I don't use much products to compare, Loreal gave me a cakey finish (upon applying 2-way cake or face powder) unlike Oriyen's that I have been using for almost forever. Who wants a cakey finish on their face kan? Unless .. hmm.. unless.. cakey is the new cute, then I'd go for it lor. Can't explain, see for yourself. Dang, the camera ain't that good at taking macro pic but when you are outside, talking to your crush (aieeee, aok lah client, boss, etc), they might notice lar coz it's on your full face compared to the photo yang ciput ini.

Haiyaaa, can see or not? Squint your eyes a bit then can see. Nevermind, you can test it for yourself what.


Ha, I will stick with my Pearl Cream anytime. Please don't let it be discontinued. Later I nangis.
